Tax Considerations for Students

Parents may want to understand the tax implications and regulations that apply to payments made to their student, such as financial aid payments or wages. Students should understand the tax-related forms that Stanford sends to them each year, and should be aware of the forms that students are required to file with governmental agencies.

International students need to be aware of tax considerations relative to their visa status.
