Subpoena or Other Legal Document for a Named Employee

A subpoena or other legal document to be served to an individual employee is to be refused by the University. This includes private matters of an employee which are not addressed to the University, are not requests for personnel records, and do not relate to University business. Process servers should be advised that the University is not authorized to receive such documents and that the University does not wish the process server to disturb the employee at work.
